The first dreamlike fairy tale in human history.
Two friends, Peisistratos and Euelpides, want to find the man who became a bird - the Epops the Hoopoe, to learn from him where in the world one can live peacefully.

He does not know, and then Peisistratos suggests establishing the City of Birds in the clouds, between the world of humans and the world of gods. Even before the City is properly built, various well-wishers arrive trying to gain benefits from its establishment.

In the end, Birds and Humans together manage to build the ideal City... A journey into each of our utopias, through the most hilarious comedy by the greatest comic in the entire history of theater, Aristophanes.

On the digital disc that accompanies the edition, our little friends will hear the entire performance that took place in October 2019 at the "Athena" theater directed by Dimitris Adamis. It includes wonderful songs from Thrace.
