Syntilor Vernis Bois surface varnish is a water-based polyurethane varnish designed for vertical wooden elements such as shutters, doors, windows and wooden chalets. It can be applied to all types of wood, for indoor and outdoor use, and its clear matte finish leaves the wood grain visible. Indoors, it can also be used to protect chalk paint.
Polyurethane resins provide resistance to weather and UV rays. Stir the varnish thoroughly before use; do not dilute. Apply with a brush or roller, following the direction of the wood grain and taking particular care with grooves, joints and edges. If needed, apply a second coat 2 hours after the first. The surfaces can be used 12 hours after application.
