The Steinel IS 1 wired infrared motion sensor detects movement at a 120° angle and a range of up to 10 m. It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling, and the sensor rotates 180° horizontally and 60° vertically to adjust the detection area.

The activation time can be set from 8 seconds to 35 minutes, while the activation brightness can be adjusted from 2 to 2000 lux. It can switch on light sources with a total load of up to 500 W and supports connection of up to 4 LEDs.
