I've had it for 4 months. At first, everything was fine.
Because I have a laptop, my headphones (HyperX Cloud Alpha) didn't have enough volume from the laptop's output, so I wanted to upgrade to something better.
I don't know if this was the problem from the beginning, but after a while, it started making a ticking sound every second. In music, games, videos, anything. I searched for settings, etc., but I couldn't figure it out. I even bought a USB hub with external power in case the laptop was the issue, but it continued to make that noise.
I don't think I would recommend it.

It seems that someone else has the same issue.
I tried it on another computer (desktop) and it works perfectly. It might be a driver issue or there could be some noise from other drivers affecting the card. Right now, I'm trying to disable some drivers.

I've tried a lot, uninstalling drivers, I changed the power settings for PCI-e Link State Power Management to off. This seemed to delay the problem, but it still comes back. Dolby Digital also quickly brings back the issue.
I might need to format the Windows, but I'll do it later.

After formatting, I notice that the issue has decreased (if not disappeared). However, I don't know why. Maybe some program was causing interference.

Well, after a lot of searching for wired over-ear headphones, I ended up with the HyperX Cloud II (they're amazing and they have the USB sound for better audio than the motherboard) due to availability (I wanted the HyperX Alpha but the price was over 120€ and it didn't have the USB sound like the Alpha S, which are comparable to the headphones). So, I bought the Cloud II, tried them at home, they're great, and as I was browsing on my PC again for headphones, haha, I saw the Alpha for 40€ without a microphone and a 3.5mm cable (I already had a cable). They were practically new... so I went back to the store and bought them again, tried them, everything was good (they're a bit clearer than the Alpha and more comfortable on my head, as always). You might be wondering what this has to do with the PlayStation 4... After trying out my headphones and reading comments, I felt like I needed something more in terms of volume and quality, so I started looking for a sound card... Now I was stuck because I don't have full knowledge about kHz and dB... and I thought, should I get something worse than what I have or take a risk... (for something cheap). I was torn between the G1, Play 3, and Play 4. I ended up buying the Play 4 and luckily (I don't have an opinion on the other two). Guys, the volume is almost half as loud and the quality (relatively, it's not easily determined, but it became clearer in my ears) and the bass is much stronger. I don't have any information about the Creative software, I didn't look into it again or read anything about it. Also, I should mention that it has a Type-C connection and comes with an adapter for a classic USB. As for using it with a Type-C connection on a Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, the quality is perfect, with the volume at 1:4. Bought it for 25€. That's all from me, I hope I helped.
