In the upscale neighborhoods of Paris, Anna Emes, the wife of a senior police official, suffers from memory gaps and hallucinations. She struggles to understand what is happening to her, turning to doctors, while being skeptical of everything.

In Little Turkey, on the other side of the city, someone is murdering illegal workers by subjecting them to horrific torture. A persistent police officer, Paul Nerthaux, tries to break the silence of the Turkish community and identify the perpetrator.
