The best and deepest battle system I have encountered so far in a jrpg and more .. It's enough for me to collect demons and play battles. Only these two are enough to spend endless hours with the game. Also, at some points, the music fits and elevates some battles. Of course, it's not perfect. The story is somewhat indifferent and cliché, and some dungeons are boring beyond measure. It requires a lot of grinding or buying the dlc with mitama, but it ruins the difficulty of the game and becomes very easy. Overall, it's a top jrpg with over 130 hours on hard mode.

Very good game, the latest in the series is worth its money. I found it quite difficult like all smt games are difficult, I finished it in 65 hours even though I didn't do all the side quests. Nice graphics, amazing music, and the story of the game is simple and concise, it doesn't tire you with many dialogues like traditional jrpgs. I recommend it to those who know the series and to those who like jrpgs.

A beautiful turn-based JRPG, which I would describe as another Pokemon, but deeper and darker. The world is bigger than I expected, the story is relatively accessible, and the demon management system is extremely interesting. The post-apocalyptic landscapes are enchanting, as is the music. For me, after 60 hours of gameplay, it takes the first place on the list of the best games of 2021.

I bought it hoping it would be something different from the persona.
I was disappointed because it seemed like a copy of persona without managing to be as good, and it ends up not being persona but neither something else that stands on its own.
These are personal preferences, but it requires caution not to jump on the hype train and give away your money for nothing. Personally, I do not recommend it to non-fans of jrpgs.

edit: Fans of jrpgs have an issue with handling different opinions!

One of the most beautiful JRPGs on the Switch. It didn't disappoint at all, unless someone bought it hoping it would be like Persona. It has fundamental differences, but I believe SMT V is one of the best in its series (maybe slightly surpassing SMT Nocturne). If you enjoy turn-based RPGs, it's worth buying 100%.
