Extremely good value for its price. Very easy program installation with the included CD and easy transfer of videos from the camera to the computer (Windows 10). The video quality is just fine. I give 4 stars instead of 5 only because if there are large gaps between different recordings on the tapes (black screen), when the next video starts, the sound gets messed up. The solution is simple: just press stop during recording when there is a black frame and press record again when the next video starts.

I used it to convert old Hi8 tapes from a Sony camera to digital format (MP4) and I was quite satisfied.

Pros:
- Plug & Play without any difficulty. It includes a mini CD with drivers/software, but in practice, it was not needed.

- Very easy setup with OBS – anyone with even basic knowledge will set it up immediately, and there are many tutorials on YouTube.

- I tested it at low resolutions (480p) and the quality was excellent. If I try it at higher resolutions, I will come back with an update.

Cons:
- The build quality is simple and it feels a bit fragile, which is expected for its price.

- In my case, the audio input was recognized as a microphone input, resulting in distorted sound. I easily solved this by using an external sound card and routing the audio separately through OBS.

Conclusion: For its price (€12.98) it does exactly what it promises and is worth buying.

Honest for its price. Plug and Play on Windows 10 (meaning you don't need to download drivers), it comes with a mini-CD that includes the software "VHS To DVD SE 3.0" from HONESTECH, so you will need a CD Drive to install it. Personally, I haven't used it because it gives me an error when I try to save the file from the recording, so I "pulled" the image directly into OBS, selecting Video Capture Device. The only "serious" problem I have is that while the tape I am trying to digitize is at 50 FPS (Hi8 PAL @ 576i50), this one produces video at 30 FPS, so the output is not as smooth as the input. The camcorder I am using is the SONY CCD-TRV58E from 2001.

I connected it directly from the video camera with the cable. I put it on Windows 10. I installed the program with the CD and it played immediately. Very easy. It copies what you see easily and without any knowledge. I highly recommend it. Also recognized by the Windows camera application.

It does exactly what you promise. It was installed with difficulty on Windows 7 until I found the right drivers. But on Windows 10, it was plug and play

The program crashes a lot and doesn't show a preview image like it did the first time I connected it. I don't know if it's worth it.

It works perfectly on Windows 11. At first, with the default settings, only the sound was playing. So, I had to go to the program's options and change the video input, and the image worked fine as well. Really, for its price, it is excellent.

I use it for converting VHS to mpg files. The installation was done on a PC with Windows 10, which recognized it immediately. The included software does a great job converting to mpg files and there was no problem with the installation and use of it. It also has the ability to edit mpg files and record them to DVD. Overall, everything went very well with the ANGA PS-C240. With a cost below 10.00 euros, including shipping, I highly recommend it without hesitation.
