The Metabo GE 710 Plus straight grinder features a Metabo Marathon motor with patented dust protection and Vario-Constamatic (VC) electronics, which provide smooth speed adjustment and maintain a constant speed under rated load. The extended spindle makes it easier to work in hard-to-reach areas, while the spindle lock simplifies accessory changes. It also features electronic motor shutdown in the event of a jam, restart protection and electronic overload protection.

The spindle housing is made of die-cast aluminium and has a removable rubber protective cover. The mounting flange helps ensure stability during operation, while the rotary dial adjusts the speed.

    I bought this specific sander with a stated power of 710 watts, but unfortunately it doesn't have enough power compared to a Chinese one with 600 watts of power that costs around 100-150€ and I have been using for the last 6 years. Otherwise, it is stable and doesn't have vibrations, but unfortunately I need almost twice the time to do my work, so I don't recommend it except for amateur use.
