    I have installed an air filter like the one shown in the picture on a Ford Puma 2021 -1000cc-125ps, and the filter needs to be washed with soap inside and outside every year (e.g., dish soap) and then dried well in the sun (the filter is not stacked because it has a mesh frame, it only withstands light pressure on the sponge body). It needs a quick spray of lubricant to keep it alive.
