On the third use, while it was making very good popcorn, the thread broke in the middle when I tried to clean it. I sent it to the store where I bought it as defective and I am waiting for a response. Στην τρίτη χρήση του και ενώ έφτιαχνε πολύ καλό ποκορν εσπασε το σπείρωμα στη μέση όταν προσπάθησα να το καθαρίσω. Το έστειλα στο κατάστημα που το αγόρασα ως ελαττωματικό και περιμένω απάντηση. However, everywhere, absolutely everywhere in the stores, it is presented as a Hot Air device, even though it is obvious that it is not! There are no instructions in Greek! I did not find a measuring cup/doser in the package! All the comments here mention that they add oil along with the popcorn. However, the device's instructions clearly state in English and other languages: Warning: Do not add oil. Use dry corn. Do not add oil or other ingredients to the device's chamber. Did the manufacturer confuse the instructions with those for a Hot Air device? Probably, because if you put the popcorn without oil on the non-stick surface, it burns! With a little oil, it becomes quite tasty, but you need to take it out quickly! I count 5 seconds from the last pop. Question: Since when do comments outweigh the manufacturer's written instructions? These are some of the serious problems that arise when such devices are sold without instructions in Greek, especially when they are so confusing and refer to another device that works with hot air! In summary, I am forced to characterize the Chinese device as of questionable quality. Proof that there are products on the market that do not always meet quality and safety standards.

Use oil with a high smoke point, such as corn oil, sunflower oil, or coconut oil (not olive oil). The total calories will be about 700 kcal.

Παρα πολυ καλή μηχανή. Βαζεις λιγο λαδακι η βουτυρο στην αντικολλητική επιφάνεια ψησίματος κλείνεις με το μεγάλο διαφανές μπωλ και οι περιστρεφόμενοι βραχίονες/σύρματα φροντίζουν να ανακατέβουν το καλαμπόκι συνέχεια ώστε να αλειφτεί όλο με το λάδι και να σκάσει σε λίγα λεπτά ομοιόμορφα.
Στα θετικά του:
- το αλάτι που βάζεις μετά κολλάει στο ποπ κορν ενώ στις μηχανές με αέρα όχι
- Τα ποπ κορν δε σκορπίζουν αλλά συγκρατούνται απο το μπωλ
- Μετά το ψήσιμο αναποδογυρίζεις τη μηχανή και παίρνεις το ποπ κόρν στο μπωλ
- Ε΄υκολο καθάρισμα με ένα υγρό πανάκι ή ένα υγρό κομμάτι χαρτί κουζίνας. Δε χρειάζεται πολύ λάδι
- Γρήγορο ψήσιμο/σκάσιμο
- Δε μένει άσκαστο καλαμπόκι.
- Δεν δημιουργούνται οσμές όπως σε μια κατσαρόλα με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο

So I dropped fifty euros and thought, at worst, another useless item in the line of useless items we've all acquired from time to time. Guys, this little machine is truly amazing. I put in almost double the amount I usually use in the pot, drizzled a bit of oil as I do with oily foods, and pressed the button. In almost 3 minutes the first ones started popping and in another minute they had all popped. That's when I lost it, I flipped it over as you should and there wasn't a single unpopped kernel left. Honestly, not a single unpopped one. I don't know if it was just pure luck but I was thrilled. The portion was enough for 3 people and cleaning was a joke. If you love popcorn and don't want it like the ones that come out of hot air machines, buy this with your eyes closed and you'll make me a saint!! As for durability, I don't know, just like I don't know if right after this review I go outside and get hit by a truck. Time will tell.
By the way, the photos don't do it justice, the device is huge, like a big basketball with handles and maybe even a bit bigger.
ATTENTION!!! The description wrongly says it's hot air. It's not. It has a metal plate that heats up and that's where the magic happens.
P.S. I use corn from the well-known German supermarket and so far not a single unpopped kernel remains.
Λοιπόν έσκασα ένα πενηντάρικο και λέω άντε στη χειρότερη άλλο ένα άχρηστο αντικείμενο στη σειρά των άχρηστων αντικειμένων που όλοι μας έχουμε αποκτήσει κατά καιρούς . Παιδιά το μηχανάκι τα σπάει πραγματικά . Έβαλα σχεδόν τη διπλή δόση από ότι βάζω στο κατσαρολάκι , του έριξα με το λαδερό λίγο λάδι και πάτησα το κουμπί . Σε σχεδόν 3 λεπτά άρχισαν να σκάνε τα πρώτα και σε άλλο ένα λεπτό είχαν σκάσει όλα. Εκεί είναι που τρελάθηκα , το αναποδογύρισα όπως πρέπει και δεν είχε μείνει ούτε ένα άσκαστο. Παιδιά λόγω τιμής ,ούτε ένα άσκαστο. Δεν ξέρω αν ήταν απλή κ***λοφαρδία πάντως ενθουσιάστηκα . Η δόση ήταν αρκετή για 3 άτομα και το καθάρισμα γελοίο. Αν γουστάρετε ποπ κορν και δεν θέλετε να είναι σαν αυτά που βγάζουν οι μηχανές με θερμό αέρα , πάρτε το με κλειστά μάτια και θα με κάνετε εικόνισμα !! Στην τρίτη χρήση του και ενώ έφτιαχνε πολύ καλό ποκορν εσπασε το σπείρωμα στη μέση όταν προσπάθησα να το καθαρίσω. Το έστειλα στο κατάστημα που το αγόρασα ως ελαττωματικό και περιμένω απάντηση. Το κατάστημα δε θα το αντικαταστήσει διότι οφείλεται σε ανθρώπινο λάθος και όχι σε χαμηλής ποιότητας υλικά που καταστρέφονται μετά από ελάχιστη χρήση. Ευχαριστώ για την εξυπηρέτηση!!!

With a little oil, it becomes quite tasty, but you need to take it out quickly! I count 5 seconds from the last pop. Question: Since when do comments outweigh the manufacturer's written instructions? Παρα πολυ καλή μηχανή. Βαζεις λιγο λαδακι η βουτυρο στην αντικολλητική επιφάνεια ψησίματος κλείνεις με το μεγάλο διαφανές μπωλ και οι περιστρεφόμενοι βραχίονες/σύρματα φροντίζουν να ανακατέβουν το καλαμπόκι συνέχεια ώστε να αλειφτεί όλο με το λάδι και να σκάσει σε λίγα λεπτά ομοιόμορφα.
Στα θετικά του:
- το αλάτι που βάζεις μετά κολλάει στο ποπ κορν ενώ στις μηχανές με αέρα όχι
- Τα ποπ κορν δε σκορπίζουν αλλά συγκρατούνται απο το μπωλ
- Μετά το ψήσιμο αναποδογυρίζεις τη μηχανή και παίρνεις το ποπ κόρν στο μπωλ
- Ε΄υκολο καθάρισμα με ένα υγρό πανάκι ή ένα υγρό κομμάτι χαρτί κουζίνας. Δε χρειάζεται πολύ λάδι
- Γρήγορο ψήσιμο/σκάσιμο
- Δε μένει άσκαστο καλαμπόκι.
- Δεν δημιουργούνται οσμές όπως σε μια κατσαρόλα με τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο
Στα αρνητικά του:

So I dropped fifty euros and thought, at worst, another useless item in the line of useless items we've all acquired from time to time. Guys, this little machine is truly amazing. I put in almost double the amount I usually use in the pot, drizzled a bit of oil as I do with oily foods, and pressed the button. In almost 3 minutes the first ones started popping and in another minute they had all popped. That's when I lost it, I flipped it over as you should and there wasn't a single unpopped kernel left. Honestly, not a single unpopped one. I don't know if it was just pure luck but I was thrilled. The portion was enough for 3 people and cleaning was a joke. If you love popcorn and don't want it like the ones that come out of hot air machines, buy this with your eyes closed and you'll make me a saint!! As for durability, I don't know, just like I don't know if right after this review I go outside and get hit by a truck. Time will tell.
By the way, the photos don't do it justice, the device is huge, like a big basketball with handles and maybe even a bit bigger.
ATTENTION!!! The description wrongly says it's hot air. It's not. It has a metal plate that heats up and that's where the magic happens.
P.S. I use corn from the well-known German supermarket and so far not a single unpopped kernel remains.
Λοιπόν έσκασα ένα πενηντάρικο και λέω άντε στη χειρότερη άλλο ένα άχρηστο αντικείμενο στη σειρά των άχρηστων αντικειμένων που όλοι μας έχουμε αποκτήσει κατά καιρούς . Παιδιά το μηχανάκι τα σπάει πραγματικά . Έβαλα σχεδόν τη διπλή δόση από ότι βάζω στο κατσαρολάκι , του έριξα με το λαδερό λίγο λάδι και πάτησα το κουμπί . Σε σχεδόν 3 λεπτά άρχισαν να σκάνε τα πρώτα και σε άλλο ένα λεπτό είχαν σκάσει όλα. Εκεί είναι που τρελάθηκα , το αναποδογύρισα όπως πρέπει και δεν είχε μείνει ούτε ένα άσκαστο. Παιδιά λόγω τιμής ,ούτε ένα άσκαστο. Δεν ξέρω αν ήταν απλή κ***λοφαρδία πάντως ενθουσιάστηκα . Η δόση ήταν αρκετή για 3 άτομα και το καθάρισμα γελοίο. Αν γουστάρετε ποπ κορν και δεν θέλετε να είναι σαν αυτά που βγάζουν οι μηχανές με θερμό αέρα , πάρτε το με κλειστά μάτια και θα με κάνετε εικόνισμα !! Αντοχή στον χρόνο δεν ξέρω όπως δεν ξέρω αν αμέσως μετά την κριτική αυτή βγω έξω και με πατήσει ένα φορτηγό. Θα δείξει.
Παρεμπιπτόντως το αδικούν οι φωτογραφίες , το εργαλείο είναι τεράστιο σαν μια μεγάλη μπάλα μπάσκετ με χερούλια και ίσως και λίγο μεγαλύτερο .
ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ !!! Εσφαλμένα στην περιγραφή λένε ότι είναι θερμού αέρα. Δεν είναι . Έχει μια μεταλλική πλάκα που θερμαίνεται και εκεί γίνεται η δουλειά .

If you are a popcorn lover, this is a must have! It makes them perfectly, nothing like the hot air ones. You need a minimum of 3 tablespoons of oil, with less they don't pop well. (You can also use coconut oil for a perfect aroma!)
I deduct 2 stars because the device and the company are "made in China" to a dangerous degree: The instructions, although they state the correct model, are wrong! The device is NOT hot air and what user Pantote wrote applies.
Also, on their site it says the tray is removable but in reality it is not!
Last but not least, I cut the cable because I wanted to extend it and I found out it only has 2 wires inside, meaning there is no grounding at all!

Last but not least, έκοψα το καλώδιο της γιατί ήθελα να του κάνω προέκταση και διαπίστωσα πως έχει μόνο 2 καλώδια εσωτερικά, δηλαδή δεν έχει καθόλου γείωση!
