Welcome to Morrison Hotel! The highly anticipated graphic novel by Leah Moore about the legendary band The Doors is coming to Greece from Oxy Comics and Brainfood Publishing!

The fifth studio album of The Doors inspires graphic novel writer Leah Moore to reconstruct the libertarian atmosphere of struggle and questioning that erupted in the late 1960s. Her creation is in collaboration with the surviving members of the legendary band that shaped the (anti)culture of the era, as well as with the help of twelve distinct illustrators. Among them is a Greek, Vasilis Lolos, a recipient of Eisner and Harvey awards!

This release was decided in light of the 50th anniversary of the Morrison Hotel album. It naturally centers on the band itself, but also serves as a panorama of the 60s and 70s, highlighting the struggles of minorities for equality against the backdrop of the Vietnam War.
