Specifications
The Thirard safe features an electronic keypad lock and can also be opened with a key. The variable user code consists of 6–10 characters, and the non-volatile memory retains data when the batteries are replaced. Audible and visual alerts confirm codes and indicate incorrect operation or low battery power.
It locks with 4 rotating 22 mm diameter bolts protected against sawing. The safe features continuous perimeter welding on the frame, a steel magnesium plate around the lock and bolts and along the upper vertical side, and an internal profile designed to resist door tampering. It has mounting holes in the back and base, a removable interior lining, and an emergency opening mechanism certified to EN 1300.
