I had the previous one for almost 20 years with quite a bit of work in construction and it started to give me some trouble, so I got a new one this year and a resistor to fix the old one. There is a very large variety of tips that are very durable, for me the best for amateur use and one of the best for professionals. If you find it with a silicone cable, it will be better; I changed it just like I did with the old one to a more convenient socket.

Very good, it surpasses a falcom that I had bought which was difficult to use and broke relatively quickly, I never had a good brand of soldering iron. Very good construction with a long cable, I also bought an additional tip for details, it really makes soldering very easy, personally I use it on LED strips where you need to be careful not to make a big solder joint and cause a short circuit. One negative thing I noticed is that in the photo it has a plastic piece that rests on the finger which was not included. I recommend it if someone is looking for something simple and sturdy without temperature adjustments but not Chinese, this one is manufactured in England.

I have been using a soldering iron for many years in various occasions without being an electronics expert. I do related work and sometimes need to replace a relay or capacitor on circuit boards, etc. I tried it and I can say I have never tried such a good soldering iron before. Without considering myself a professional, I can say that everything became easier. Forget about the cheap and mediocre ones, here we are talking about the best machine.

Very inflexible cable. Takes a long time to heat up. Personally, the 25W is not enough to adequately warm up the tip provided with the soldering iron. I will try a higher wattage and will come back

I'm not sure if I was in high school when I bought it or if I was still a middle school student. I'm talking about 30 years ago. It still works perfectly, and today I just bought a new genuine Antex tip. It is a product that proves that they can really make products for a lifetime. My soldering iron and an Izola refrigerator are the oldest devices I have and they still work flawlessly!

After a lot of searching and opinions from colleagues, I finally ended up with this one. I have been completely satisfied with its quality and functionality. Very easy and precise adhesions, as well as a wide range of tips that cover almost all gluing cases. A tool that is worth its money and will last you for many years. I highly recommend it!

Antex and Weller are soldering irons for a lifetime

Very good product with the ability to change tips to handle any situation. You will have it for a lifetime. The only drawback is perhaps the relatively short cable for my needs. However, compared to the Weller SP25, it is miles away!!
