Description

The Greek Metropolitan Historical Site occupies a critically strategic position on the Rimlanc (to speak in terms of classical Anglo-Saxon Geopolitics), namely the Perimeter Zone or, alternatively, the Ring of Earth, around the compact Eurasian landmass - and especially in the geographically significant area of the Dardanelles, the Greek Archipelago and the Peninsula of Chalkidiki, whose major geopolitical function is, and always should be, from the perspective of the Anglo-Saxon Naval Forces, the constant and continuous containment of the possible exit/entry of the Major Eurasian Land Force, i.e. Russia, towards the warm seas, towards the South... For the sake of historical justice, it must be said that it was the Russian Empire of the Romanov Dynasty that, due to the Greek Question, finally broke the Holy Alliance [...] and pursued that series of diplomatic and military actions that ultimately led to the positive (albeit partial) outcome of the Greek Revolution. Nevertheless, the established regime of foreign "Protection", interpreted in practice as the constant intervention of the "Protecting Power" of Great Britain - sometimes assisted by France - as well as the final dominance within Greek society of a hegemonic formation with an overtly comprador character, was destined to tie the state to the chariot of British politics [...]. The fundamental contradiction of the Great Greek Revolution was the establishment of the dominance of the Phanariots, Koçabaşis, and Compradors, and the subjugation of Popular Sovereignty through the introduction of a Western-style parliamentary structure.
