Description

WHITE ACRYLIC PRIMER

It is a combination of traditional gesso with an acrylic polymer, added with a white pigment and additives that ensure flexibility, extremely easy sanding, and long durability. It can be used to prepare a canvas for painting or to create a base color for the proper application of gold leaf.

The acrylic gesso can be tinted by adding the right amounts of Holzfarbe stain concentrate or lead-free pigments from the COW range.

Packaging: 250gr, 1kg

VOC FREE: All Borma Wachs products comply with the European standard for solvent emissions in the atmosphere and fully respect human health and the environment. The new PREMIUM ECO-VOC FREE range offers a new selection of materials without compromises with 100% natural, biodegradable products.

Instructions:

  • Apply with a brush or dilute with the correct amount of water (max 15-20%) for spray application.
  • For application on gold leaf, it is recommended to tint the gesso reddish-orange to mimic the color of the red shell.
  • For silver leaves, a dark or black tone is recommended.
  • Apply at least two or three coats, waiting for each layer to dry.
  • Before applying gold leaf, proceed with a careful sanding process to achieve a smooth surface.
