Very good quality and it irons clothes perfectly without needing to press the steam button; if you do press it... well, it works perfectly.

The only negative thing about these irons is that you need to refill them with water often, but you lose some things and gain others, because boiler irons are bulky and heavy, plus if something happens to them, you’ll be crying over your money.
If, however, you don’t keep pressing the steam button, it can do quite a lot of clothes. (I ironed an overfilled basket with 3 refills).

As for the water leaking that some people mention, there is a mark showing how much water you can put in; if you exceed it, it will obviously leak. Also, when you add more water, you need to let it sit for a few minutes to heat up. I do these things and it hasn’t leaked again.

Not good quality at all, it looks completely Chinese.
It leaks water when you iron, overall it's a joke.
Wasted money, I saw the reviews and got fooled.
Get another brand, Philips no longer exists.
A Chinese company has bought the brand and makes products that are worthless.

A more expensive model with a boiler broke down on me, so I decided to get something temporary. The reviews convinced me, but it is actually more powerful than the other one I had (and I expected it to work satisfactorily because it was expensive)... I wish I had found it sooner

    Incredible iron.

It's amazing how it glides over clothes and irons them perfectly and quickly without sticking to them.

As for the water that some commented it releases, that's not true.
All irons, after you plug them in and the light goes off indicating they're ready, if you leave them for another 1-2 minutes, they don't release any water at all!

I always used to buy Braun irons and I was very satisfied. When my last one broke, I read recent reviews about Braun and I was disappointed because I realized that the company has lowered its quality.
Based on friends' opinions, I decided to try my luck with Philips. The result was quite disappointing.
Firstly, the plastic parts are of cheap quality and feel. After 3 months of use, they are already starting to creak.
With my previous 2400-watt irons, set to maximum temperature, I wouldn't even dare to touch the fabrics, e.g., to fold towels. With this 2600-watt iron, I set it to max and can easily put my hand on the fabric to fold it, as if it were set to min.
At the highest temperature, it doesn't iron in one pass and produces a small/medium amount of steam, which means it takes more time to iron a garment. It actually produces more steam when I hold it upright than when I'm ironing.
I will change it at the first opportunity.

very good iron, it glides on clothes.
its plate seems to be of good quality and the coatings help with ironing.
it also has descaling, something that will definitely give it durability over time.
the steam is always as much as needed, depending on the setting, and it heats up quickly.
Water has not leaked any of the times we have used it

It's amazing how it glides over clothes and irons them perfectly and quickly without sticking to them.

As for the water that some commented it releases, that's not true.
All irons, after you plug them in and the light goes off indicating they're ready, if you leave them for another 1-2 minutes, they don't release any water at all!

  • I always used to buy Braun irons and I was very satisfied.

  • very good iron, it glides on clothes.
its plate seems to be of good quality and the coatings help with ironing.
it also has descaling, something that will definitely give it durability over time.
the steam is always as much as needed, depending on the setting, and it heats up quickly.
Water has not leaked any of the times we have used it
