The Nanophos Surfashield Mbc photocatalytic coating is based on titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanocrystals and is activated by natural or artificial light. In a single application, the active ingredients bond to the surface and provide antimicrobial action for up to 6 weeks. The surface’s texture and appearance remain unchanged, and application does not require heat.
It can be applied to screens and touchscreens, elevator control panels, painted walls, worktops, stainless steel surfaces, door handles, trolleys, keys, telephones, furniture and fabrics. Before application, the surface must be dry, clean and disinfected. Apply the product undiluted with a brush, roller or spray gun; gently remove any excess with a clean cloth. Allow it to work for 30 minutes before using the surface. Full bonding is complete after 4 hours at 20 °C.
