The GloboStar 71555 LED solar floodlight turns on at sunset via its built-in photocell, providing autonomous lighting. The photovoltaic panel charges the included rechargeable batteries, and the floodlight can also be operated with the 2.4 GHz RF wireless remote control.

The panel connects to the floodlight via a 4.4 m cable. Lighting autonomy is 8–12 hours.
