Wurth 25 LM Standard Line polyurethane adhesive sealant seals and bonds similar or dissimilar materials in industrial, construction and household applications. Its elasticity allows it to absorb considerable stress and makes it suitable for joints that continuously change width due to contraction and expansion. It adheres to plaster, wood, aluminium and ceramics, and can be painted.
It is resistant to UV radiation, moisture and ageing, as well as mechanical stress. Application requires a cartridge gun and a special smoothing spatula. Porous and metal surfaces must be cleaned of dust and loose residue. On porous substrates such as concrete, a primer is recommended to improve adhesion. The joint depth should ideally be half its width; if greater depth is required, use a backing rod or polyurethane foam as a backing material.
