Description

The Z fc is where Nikon's classic camera design meets the groundbreaking technology of the Z series, ensuring top-notch image quality and pure, authentic style. Wherever and whatever you shoot, from photos to videos and vlogs. Drive your creativity into the future with this lightweight DX-format mirrorless camera that places iconic style in your hands.

Iconic design - it's her legacy

Black body with embossed texture. Frame made of silver metal with a subtle texture. The mirrorless camera Z fc has a style comparable to classic Nikon SLR film cameras, and the special edition NIKKOR Z lens has a similar appearance. All include design elements from the past. And real creative power of the present.

Selectors with physical control

Separate dials to control shutter speed, exposure compensation, and ISO sensitivity without entering the camera menu. You can also set the camera to use command dials for shutter speed or exposure compensation.

Top Information Display

Do you want to capture portraits with shallow depth of field or street scenes from wide angles that remain sharp across the entire frame? The small screen allows you to confirm the aperture at a glance as it displays the f/stop value of your shot.

Round Electronic Viewfinder

The high-resolution viewfinder of the Z fc is electronic, but its design is round, like the optical viewfinder of the Nikon FM2. You will see everything clearly and it activates as soon as you bring the camera to your eye.

Z fc

Capture your iconic moments with a camera that reflects the aesthetic you love. From photos to videos and vlogs. Drive your creativity into the future with this lightweight and stylish mirrorless camera with DX format.

Built for today

The Z fc looks like it came straight out of the '80s, yet the durable magnesium alloy frame ensures a camera that meets today's demands. Durable in every way, the body is also lightweight and extremely portable. Walk around with this camera on your shoulder and get ready to turn heads.

Z fc Design & Innovation: Our legacy. Your creativity.

The black textured body. The fine pattern on the silver metallic frame. The mirrorless Z fc camera displays as much character as Nikon's film SLR cameras of yesteryear - and the special edition NIKKOR Z lens looks the same too. These are original design details from back then. And real creative power for today.

Quality you can feel

The body of the Z fc is made from magnesium alloy, the same material used in Nikon's professional cameras. With an excellent balance of durability and low weight, it is a camera you take with you wherever your inspiration leads you.

Capture Your Iconic Moments

Love the physical control dials and the round electronic viewfinder. Tell stories from your own perspective with the variable-angle screen. Enjoy exceptional sharpness, detail, and clarity - day or night. Capture your iconic moments with a camera that connects you to the aesthetics you've always loved.

  • This is an amazing camera, especially if someone has used the Nikon FM! As for the fact that the bottom part of the camera is plastic and not metal, this was obviously chosen both to reduce cost and to keep the camera from being heavier. Personally, I chose to add the SmallRig base, both to protect the camera’s base and to have a grip for holding it. The software that comes with it is fantastic, with the ability to use digital filters, which can even be added from Nikon Picture Control (https://nikonpc.com/)!! Also, you can program specific points on the camera and lens so that the user doesn’t have to go into the Menu to make adjustments (such as white balance, etc.). I highly recommend it, it’s a real "doll"!!

Initially, the design and feel of the camera are as nice as they appear in the photos. You enjoy every moment you use it with all the controls it has, and overall its beauty is unparalleled and will be especially appreciated by lovers of old cameras of this style. Many mention that it doesn't have a good grip and I fully agree; buy the SmallRig accessory that essentially adds a proper grip without a second thought, otherwise you won't have a pleasant experience. I think the image quality is very good for the camera's price and it easily competes with other options in this price range. Battery, screen, build quality all left me very satisfied. It's the first camera of this price range that I buy so I can't fully compare similar ones, but for someone who wants to take photos that reach the 'professional' level and of course who likes the design and will truly enjoy taking photos with it, I think it's a very good solution.

    Amazing camera..
Excellent image quality from Nikon with beautiful colors and very good contrast.. Gorgeous retro style, especially in silver color it rocks!! The battery lasts quite a while, I work the ISO up to 12800 or even higher and the image is quite good!! Nice screen, nice viewfinder, fast autofocus that has never let me down!! The only downside is the grip of the camera.. You definitely need to buy the grip which costs around 60 euros.. I use the camera with the Meike 50mm f1.8 and the image quality is incredible!! I believe it's worth the money, those who get it will enjoy it.. The controls are very addictive that you won't want to put it down for a second!!

This review is about the bundle: Body

Beautiful, high-quality crop frame. Easy adjustments from the knobs on the top. You will start shooting only manual! Very good touchscreen, helps a lot with focusing. Very good focus and sharpness up to 2000 iso. After that, noise starts to appear (goes up to 51200). Video up to 4k 30fps, satisfactory but not great. Although it doesn't have body stabilization, you can easily shoot up to 1/30s without a tripod, as long as you haven't had 6 coffees. It has poor hand grip. Basically, it doesn't have grip. The lenses for the z mount are quite expensive and not very diverse. I consider an ftz adapter necessary.
