The modern man has built his house without windows. He sees and expects nothing outside of himself and his individual world. His house is not ventilated and therefore smells. He does not see light and is nourished from nowhere.

The darkness that surrounds him is deeper than the darkest Christmas Eve. Worse than all is that such a house with such windows does not allow a person to maintain the hope that one day he will be able to see the glow of God within his heart.
