The book: Aristos is a mischievous little ant. He hides his grandmother's glasses, pokes holes in the group ball, presents himself as a ghost in front of his friends, and causes a lot of trouble with his pranks. He pays no attention to anyone's complaints about the consequences of his behavior. He merely shrugs his shoulders indifferently and says every time, "So what?" However, an adventure he experienced on a rainy afternoon changed his mind. What happened that he never uttered "So what?" again? The series: In order for children to secure a healthy social life based on effective relationships, they must cultivate empathy, the ability to put themselves in others' shoes, to understand and feel things the same way another person experiences them. This need is addressed by the illustrated books of this series, which promote emotional intelligence. With the proposed approach for parents and educators, they aim to introduce children to seeing the world through others' eyes, after first learning to recognize and manage their own emotions. The author: Yolanda Tsoroni-Georgiadi is a graduate of the Law School, the Pedagogical Academy, and the Department of Education at the University of Athens, and has received further training at the Marasleios Teaching Institute. She worked for many years in public education, writes articles for educational magazines, volunteers in organizations promoting literature, is an active member of the Women's Literary Society, and has published numerous books for children and studies on folklore.
