(when it gets warm it smells like fried! that's why it's good to have a snack with you). It is a liquid oil compared to Husqvarna (mineral oil) and Oleo Mac that I have tried. It does not cloud or thicken in cold weather like the others. Lubrication is great. The pump works well. VFM
