    The rods in the picture are thin and rusty, don't expect as a beginner to do a stitch right away... It requires tack welding little by little, as we say, watch some related video on YouTube, Alva welding I think has a few like that... Also, your amps are through the roof, 69-90 is for a 2.5 electrode, you need around 70 for the rods in the picture... I hope I helped

  • I used it for the first time today. It worked at 160 A with a 2.5 electrode and didn't even get warm. Only the clamp is not of very good quality

    I have broken 3 electrodes so far to stick two sides together as seen in the photo, first time I stick. The machine doesn't seem to be powerful or I just can't do it. I have it at 100 amps, 2.5 electrode but still it doesn't weld even with a clamp.
