I used it to install a SATA hard drive in an Original XBOX. Compared to the no name green adapters from China, I have to say that it is well worth the money and more, and the speeds are excellent!

Excellent IDE to SATA converter. Perhaps the only reliable and easy one regarding the drivers. I use it in an original XBOX to run a modern SATA HDD. An important detail is that SATA hard drives are not compatible with all IDE cables but only with those designated as Ultra-DMA (fortunately, most IDE cables still sold are Ultra-DMA). Do not be disappointed if it does not work with the old cables you might have in your system.
