Years ago, Soja Ishita was the leader of the tormenting behavior towards a classmate of his, Soko Nishimiya, who had hearing problems. When she changes schools, Soja goes from being the perpetrator to the victim and is left completely alone. Now Soja tries to atone in Soko's eyes and confronts his classmates who turned their backs on him. He learns sign language to apologize to Soko for his behavior, thus starting a relationship that will forever change their lives.
