  • Assembling this plyo box was a real hassle, especially when it came to the internal support (cross brace). The instructions in the leaflet are completely contradictory and show incredible carelessness. Figure 3 shows an arrangement where the large surfaces of the wood pieces are in contact, while in Figure 4 no such contact between their large surfaces is shown, creating complete confusion about which one is correct.

The worst part is the complete lack of preparation of the materials: out of the 3 pieces of the cross brace, only one had pre-drilled holes! To stabilize the structure properly and keep it from wobbling, you need to improvise, drill holes yourself, and add extra screws in the center at a right angle (as the back side of Figure 3 suggests). If you do not have specialized knowledge and the proper tools (at least a good screwdriver/drill), it is impossible to create a stable internal support.

In addition, the "non-slip surface" promised in the specifications simply does not exist. On matte tile the box slips dangerously, which is a risk of injury during training. I had to place my own silicone anti-slip mesh underneath to make it safe.

Finally, the leaflet is not just badly translated, but full of glaring grammatical and spelling mistakes (they write "poyo box", "becarse", "unassemboed"), which shows a complete lack of seriousness and responsibility on the part of the manufacturer. Stay away if you do not feel like spending hours tinkering.

On the positive side, after I went through hell to assemble it properly, the box ultimately seems quite sturdy and I do not regret buying it, mainly because there are no better alternatives on the market at the moment. However, €110 is far too much money for a product that requires so much personal effort and your own fixes to become safe and functional. If they fix the instructions, the pre-drilling, and the slipping issue, we would be talking about a good value-for-money product. Right now, it simply is not worth the money.

Easy assembly and sturdy construction. The plywood used by the company looks good and the coating made of non-slip material is indeed useful... it makes it safer to use and doesn't make as much noise when used on a hard floor. It is preferable, of course, to use it on a softer floor, because no matter how well-made it is, it will definitely "give" a little... Negligible, I would say, better.
