DDR4
DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and capacity.
It offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory module.
For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.
The above characteristics should be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard.
The Kingston FURY Beast provides speed at 3200MT/s, with CL16 and 8 GB per memory module.
Compatibility
DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Indicatively, DDR4 is compatible with Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake series processors and the latest Intel processors, as well as AMD Ryzen and Threadripper series processors.
However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you need to ensure that your motherboard supports DDR4 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.
XMP & EXPO
XMP & EXPO is a technology that allows us to increase the frequency and performance of our computer's memory without the need for manual adjustments. (XMP/EXPO) is easily activated from the BIOS, is available in certain RAM memories, and is supported by certain motherboards.
The Kingston FURY Beast DDR4 RAM has (XMP 2.0) profiles with performances:
Speed (XMP 2.0): 3200 MT/s
CAS Latency (XMP 2.0): 16-18-18
Voltage (XMP 2.0): 1.35V

Excellent kit, flawless operation, installed on an AMD B550 EAGLE motherboard together with a Ryzen 9 5950X, XMP enabled, perfect memory. As usual, on the 1st boot of the build, memory training takes some time but after that, it boots up instantly. Patience now with the prices, when they drop again it will be a good choice

This RAM is incredible! It has XMP, it has Dual Channel! (Something that most processors support) I installed it on a Gigabyte B550M-K with a Ryzen 5 5500 and my computer worked much faster! It's worth the money! I recommend everyone to buy it while it's at this price.
EDIT: I used to buy it for 30 euros and now it costs 256 euros LOL

Just as the name suggests. BEAST!! By default, the ASRock a320m motherboard clocked them at 2400MHz, but with a manual change through BIOS, they ran at 3200MHz.

I installed them today (2x8) on ASRock B550m Steel Legend with Ryzen 7 5700G and the first impression after activation via CAS Latency (XMP 2.0) at 3200 was positive. They were immediately recognized and so far all indications appear correct and work perfectly. Until today, I was using G.Skill Aegis 16GB 3200 DDR4 RAM with 2 Modules (2x8GB), which in no case could exceed 2134 even with BIOS settings

What can I say, for such a classic, reliable brand, like Kingston…? In all my PC life, I trusted, many, Kingston products. RAM memory for my Desktop PCs, were always made, by this company.
And, I do own, 3 flash memory drives, of Kingston’s DataTraveler, brand name. Although, each of these USB flash drives, have totally different design. They continue, to reliably serve my needs, for many years.
I was able to set/over-clock, my RAM memory modules, through my motherboard’s BIOS XMP profile, to their true clock speed. I faced no problems, doing this.
The design, of the RAM DIMS, is quite minimalistic, but robust. They have no RGB lights. Instead, they are all black.
Kingston RAM memories, all have, a lifetime guarantee. So, their performance, and durability, is legendary.
The biggest advantage, of Kingston RAM pieces have over other, less experienced, brands. Is, that the modules have a low height.
So, they will not obstruct the installation, of a big, after market, CPU Cooler. This is more important, than what you may think.
These are my current PC specs. In which I installed the 4 modules.
In conclusion, feel 100% free, to trust, Kingston products. Especially, the RAM modules.
The price is very affordable indeed for their great built quality, and long standing, successful brand.
