The new book by Stelios Lionakis, "Four Colorful Journeys," is published by Thermikos Editions. The central themes of the stories are the search for the "soul," victory, lost pleasure, and freedom. Four colorful and adventurous journeys culminate in the fulfillment of each hero's dreams and goals, carrying with them the difficulties as well as the joys that these experiences offer.
Biography: Stelios Lionakis was born in Chania, Crete, where he lived until he became an adult. He then studied Nursing and Epidemiology in Heraklion. At this stage of his life, he is in the final stretch for completing his doctoral thesis, which studies the epidemiology of cancer in Crete. In recent years, he has worked as a research and scientific collaborator on various research programs at the Medical School of the University of Crete, where he is also undertaking his thesis. He has invested much of his free time in writing texts, photography, listening to music, and reading. This is his second published book; the first is titled "Parables of Light" (Thermikos Editions, 2018).
