Owner of Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 - very satisfied - I was looking for a silent fan for long hours of use with low consumption because I couldn't spend that much money again.
I bought 2 pieces of the 250R for €80 (€40/piece) and literally when I took them out of the box and set them up, I thought I would probably need to return them immediately as DOA because they were broken.
As soon as I connected them, they started charging with a beep beep, you pressed the power to start and there was no response at all.
I read in the instructions that it doesn't work while charging, I thought the purchase was a bust, I don't want it like this, I wondered why no one had mentioned it in the reviews, I was probably going to return it, I thought. Anyway, let me wait to see if it charges to see what happens. A day of 10 hours passed - the whole night intervened, I woke up in the morning and magically both had charged, the beep beep had stopped, I pressed to start them and both started normally even though they were still connected to their charger! Good luck figuring that out now!
The first thing that bothered me besides the fact that it doesn't start and turn off from the remote control (which I had read here beforehand), is that the remote control indeed doesn't work at a distance of half a meter, as I had read in the comments. So indeed unacceptable, as if it doesn't exist.
The second is that although it has a well-designed -double- blade, it is NOT COMPLETELY silent like the Xiaomi even at the lowest setting. Consider that I am particular about this and I am referring to nighttime use in a bedroom where you want ABSOLUTE silence. Beyond that, for normal use, the noise is indeed minimal (the XIAOMI I emphasize is indeed SILENT at its first low speed/setting).
I was surprised that before making the purchase I was looking for information and reviews to find out if the supposed 15-watt motor it has is DC and I couldn't find anything. When they arrived and I opened them, I saw that they have a sticker from a Greek company, so probably that's why they are not widely available and there is no information.
It's a shame because as a product it has competitive features, but in practice, it falls short in everything.
Fortunately, I don't have a problem yet with the noise from the blades that I saw mentioned in other comments, but even if it arises, I am willing to remove the cover, I prefer it to be as quiet as possible compared to safety.
I should also mention that it has a unique rotation system where the entire unit rotates from the base (and not just the top part with the mechanism and the blades) I had never seen anything like this before.
Obviously, the concept gives weight to portability and autonomous operation with batteries.
Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to measure and verify its low power consumption, something that interests me a lot.
In general, I wouldn't recommend it with closed eyes, read carefully the advantages and disadvantages and decide if it suits you.
Update 30/7/2024 - Keep in mind that it indeed doesn't charge while operating. In long-term use, that is, 8 hours+, while connected to power, there comes a moment when it turns off and starts charging.
Κάτοχος Xiaomi Smart Standing Fan 2 -πολύ ευχαριστημένος- έψαχνα να βρω ανεμιστήρα αθόρυβο για πολύωρη χρήση με χαμηλή κατανάλωση γιατί δεν μπορούσα να δώσω ξανά τόσα χρήματα.
Αγόρασα 2 τεμάχια του 250R στα 80€ (40€/τεμάχιο) και κυριολεκτικά όταν τους έβγαλα από το κουτί και τους έστησα, σκέφτηκα ότι μάλλον θα χρειαστεί άμεση επιστροφή ως DOA γιατί είναι χαλασμένοι.
Με το που τους σύνδεσα, άρχισαν να φορτίζουν κάνοντας ένα μπιπ μπιπ, πάταγες το power να ξεκινήσει και δεν είχε καμία απόκριση.
Διαβάζω μέσα στις οδηγίες ότι δε λειτουργεί όταν φορτίζει, τζίφος λέω η αγορά, δεν τον θέλω έτσι, απόρησα που δεν το έχει γράψει κανένας ήδη στις κριτικές, μάλλον θα τον πάω για επιστροφή λέω. Τέλος πάντων, ας περιμένω μπας και φορτίσει να δω τι γίνεται. Μέρα από 10 ώρες -μεσολάβησε και όλο το βράδυ, ξυπνάω το πρωί και δια μαγιάς έχουν φορτίσει και οι δύο, έχει σταματήσει το μπιπ μπιπ πατάω να ξεκινήσουν και ξεκινάνε κανονικά και οι δύο παρόλο που είναι συνδεμένοι ακόμα στον φορτιστή τους! Αντε βγάλε άκρη τώρα!
Το πρώτο που μου κακοφάνηκε εκτός από το ότι δεν ξεκινάει και δε σβήνει από το τηλεκοντρόλ (που το είχα διαβάσει από πριν εδώ), είναι ότι το τηλεκοντρόλ όντως δεν πιάνει σε απόσταση μισού μέτρου, όπως είχα διαβάσει στα σχόλια. Οπότε όντως απαράδεκτο, σαν να μην υπάρχει.
Το δεύτερο είναι ότι παρότι έχει μελετημένη -διπλή- φτερωτή, ΔΕΝ είναι ΕΝΤΕΛΩΣ αθόρυβος σαν τον Xiamomi ακόμα και στην πιο μικρή σκάλα. Θεωρήστε ότι είμαι μυστήριος σε αυτό και απευθύνομαι σε νυχτερινή χρήση σε υπνοδωμάτιο όπου θες ΑΠΟΛΥΤΗ ησυχία. Από εκεί και πέρα για φυσιολογική χρήση ο θόρυβος είναι όντως ελάχιστος (ο XIAOMI τονίζω είναι όντως ΑΘΟΡΥΒΟΣ στην πρώτη του χαμηλή ταχύτητα/σκάλα).
Μου έκανε εντύπωση ότι πριν κάνω την αγορά έψαχνα πληροφορίες και reviews για να βρω αν το υποτιθέμενο 15 watt μοτέρ που έχει είναι DC και δεν έβρισκα τίποτα. Όταν έφτασαν και τους άνοιξα είδα ότι έχουν αυτοκόλλητο Ελληνικής εταιρίας, οπότε μάλλον γι αυτό δεν κυκλοφορούν πολύ και δεν υπάρχουν πληροφορίες.
Είναι κρίμα γιατί σαν προϊόν έχει ανταγωνηστικά features, αλλά στην πράξη χάνει σε όλα.
Ευτυχώς δεν έχω ακόμα πρόβλημα με το θόρυβο της φτερωτής που είδα να γράφουν σε άλλα σχόλια, αλλά ακόμα και να παρουσιαστεί είμαι διατεθειμένος να βγάλω το κάλυμμα, προτιμάω να είναι όσο το δυνατόν αθόρυβος σε σχέση με την ασφάλεια.
Επίσης να αναφέρω ότι έχει ιδιαίτερο σύστημα περιστροφής όπου περιστρέφεται ολόκληρος από τη βάση (και οχι μονο το πάνω κομμάτι με το μηχανισμό και τη φτερωτή) δε μου είχε τύχει να ξαναδώ κάτι τέτοιο.
Προφανώς το concept του δίνει βάρος στη φορητότητα και την αυτόνομη λειτουργία με μπαταρίες.
Δυστυχώς δεν έχω τη δυνατότητα να μετρήσω και να επαλήθευσω τη χαμηλή κατανάλωση του σε ρεύμα, κάτι το οποίο με ενδιαφέρει πάρα πολύ.
Γενικά δε θα τον πρότεινα με κλειστά μάτια, διαβάστε προσεκτικά το προτερήματα και τα μειονέκτηματα και αποφασίστε αν κάνει για εσάς.
Update 30/7/2024 - Έχετε υπόψιν σας ότι όντως δε φορτίζει όταν λειτουργεί. Σε πολύωρη χρήση δηλαδή 8 ώρες+ ενώ είναι συνδεδεμένος στο ρεύμα, έρχεται η στιγμή που σβήνει και ξεκινάει να φορτίζει.
