The Yasee GLM-77 blood glucose meter measures glucose in a capillary whole blood sample using an electrochemical biosensor and AST technology. It requires a 0.8 μL sample and displays the result in 8 seconds, with automatic coding. The lancing device is described as painless.

It stores up to 180 results with the time and date, calculates averages for 1-, 7-, 21- and 28-day periods, and switches off automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity. It operates on one 3 V CR2032 lithium battery.
