    I bought them for tennis, which is their intended use. The sole is very hard and not at all shock-absorbent, and even after about 10 training sessions, they are still uncomfortable. They cause pain in my knees that I didn't have before. I ordered another pair because they cannot be saved, not even with softer insoles that I tried.

The Nike Court Vapor Lite men's tennis shoes feature a four-point strap inspired by race car seat belts that wraps around the foot for a secure fit. The durable mesh allows for ventilation, while special loops on the bottom two laces add support. Foam near the arch helps align the ankle with the foot during quick changes of direction, while firmer foam on the outer side provides added push-off during fast movements.

A rubber overlay on the inner midfoot helps reduce wear from toe dragging. These shoes are designed for clay courts.
