I was overwhelmed by a terrifying disappointment as soon as I saw the collection. Unfortunately, the size, or rather its absence, has not been emphasized enough. The most epic trilogy of all time does not deserve such mediocre collections.
Dimensions 15.5 length x 12.5 width, therefore smaller than a DVD, CD, PlayStation, etc.
In my opinion, this collection is a cash grab that is not intended for reading Tolkien's mythical books but for appearances. To be there and look nice on the shelf, without drawing much attention and without being bothersome. So if that is your purpose (something small, tasteful, and presentable for the shelf), then maybe this collection is for you. Personally, I wanted an edition worthy of the epic battles. In the photos, I show the books, their comparison with a PlayStation box, and that the height of two books is as much as '1001 Battles That Changed the Course of History.'
Με κατεκλυσε τρομακτική απογοήτευση με το που αντίκρισα την συλλογή. Δυστυχώς το μέγεθος ή καλύτερα ,η απουσία του, δεν έχει τονιστεί αρκετά. Η επικοτερη τριλογία όλων των εποχών δεν αξίζει τέτοιες μετριότατες συλλογές.

Κατά την γνώμη μου αυτή η συλλογή είναι μια αρπαχτή που σκοπό δεν εχει την ανάγνωση των μυθικων βιβλίων του Τολκιν αλλα το φαινεσθαι. Να ειναι εκει και να φαίνεται ωραίο στο ράφι, χωρίς να τραβάει πολυ προσοχή και χωρίς να ενοχλεί Αν λοιπόν αυτός ειναι σκοπός σας (κάτι μικρό ,εύγευστο και ευπαρουσιαστο για το ράφι) τοτε ίσως αυτή η η συλλογή να κανει για εσάς. Εγω προσωπικά ήθελα μια έκδοση αντάξια των επικών μαχών. Στις φωτογραφίες παραθέτω τα βιβλία, την σύγκριση τους με ενα κουτί του playstation, και οτι καθυψος δύο βιβλία είναι όσο το 1001 battles that changed the course of history.
Nice cover and generally as a decorative item in the room apart from the books as books. Nice paper quality. My complaint is that they are small in size, compared to the Greek editions, and I didn't know that. In the photo, as you will see, I placed them next to my glasses case. My personal opinion is that the English edition is better than the Greek one because in the Greek, it seems to me that the author's style is lost in translation. (I have read the first one in Greek.)
