50ml package containing Fenugreek Tincture. The Fenugreek tincture is derived from soaking fenugreek seeds in an alcoholic solution for a period of 4-6 weeks.

Fenugreek Tincture (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is derived from the processing of the plant of the same name, which is also known by other names such as fenugreek, helba, methi, and bird's foot. In modern herbal therapy, Fenugreek is used for a multitude of ailments.

Fenugreek contains:

• steroidal saponins (mainly diosgenin),
• 30% mucilaginous substances (polysaccharide galactomannan),
• 20% proteins,
• choline,
• alkaloids,
• 8% oils,
• calcium,
• potassium,
• iron,
• vitamins A, B, and C.

The herb acts as:

• an expectorant,
• an emollient,
• a tonic,
• a galactagogue.

It is useful for:
