Herbstore willow tincture is made from the aerial parts of the willow, which are steeped in an alcoholic grape pomace spirit solution for 4–6 weeks. During this process, the plant’s constituents dissolve into the solution. Willow is also known as white willow.

The product is made in Greece, in the region of Imathia. The usual daily dosage stated for tinctures is 0.5–1 ml, approximately 10–20 drops. It should not be consumed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
