The Bose AMM-112 passive PA speaker features a coaxial driver with a shared magnet, comprising a 12-inch woofer and a 3-inch compression driver. Its calculated maximum output level reaches 131 dB at 1 m, with coverage of 110° horizontal and 60° vertical. It can be used as a main speaker, monitor, fill, or delay speaker.

The Baltic birch plywood enclosure has multiple mounting positions and can be rotated from horizontal to vertical orientation without disassembly or tools. The Beamwidth Matching Waveguide shapes the coverage, while the frequency response is 70–18,000 Hz (-3 dB) and the frequency range is 60–20,000 Hz (-10 dB). Extension of the frequency range down to 35 Hz is specified when used with the AMS115 subwoofer.
