So, let me give my opinion about this particular speaker as well. The speaker is purely professional from every point of view, and here’s what I mean. Sturdy premium construction made of hard plastic with a finish that doesn’t leave fingerprints and absolutely no creaks. Carrying handles with very good grip on all three sides. Now, regarding the sound, as I mentioned above, it’s a professional speaker, so if someone wants it for home use (especially in a closed space), they’ll be wasting their money since they’ll never be able to enjoy the speaker’s virtues. The speaker needs volume to show its teeth, and that volume in a living room would simply be overkill, to the point where no one could sit even when the volume is at 50% of the speaker’s power. The speaker is also extremely spartan in terms of its inputs/outputs and has a DSP with three options, of which, in my opinion, only one (Linear) provides the best quality. It should also be connected to a good mixer/console, where you can control lows, mids, and highs until you find the right sound depending on the space and the type of music. Out of the box, the speaker won’t sound nice, with a very bass-heavy, colorless sound (I wish it had better factory calibration). Finally, I’ll say that it’s preferable to use a quality XLR connection rather than TRS (I tried both from the same company, I had no noise with either, but with XLR I noticed a small difference in volume). As for the weight, at around 20 kilos, you can’t call it the lightest or the heaviest, but that’s purely subjective.
