< p >Prepaid energy meters are used for absolute consumption control. They operate by loading an IC card.
They feature:
- LCD display showing total kwh
- Remaining available kwh
- Total consumption of the last session
- Audible warning for the maximum permissible prepaid consumption limit
When the remaining energy is 0, the relay opens to remind the user to "charge" the card. There is the possibility for connection with RS485 & infrared. The package includes one IC card.
The meters comply with IEC62052-11/IEC6253-21:
