For amateur use it is just fine, you will get the job done and well. The sealing needs improvement as sand escapes, you will breathe in quite a bit (wear a mask) and the surrounding area will fill up, also the slope of the bottom should be greater as often momentary gaps are created in the flow to the gun, since the sand does not flow satisfactorily towards the center where it is sucked up.

  • It works perfectly with fine sand.
It may need an upgrade to the ventilation if used for a long time.

I worked with it directly using the known conversion I have in the photo. It does quite a good job... the type of sand used also plays an important role.

Calculate about 2 hours for assembly at a very relaxed pace. What I liked is generally the build quality for its price, but it could use some upgrades like the two extra mandrels/bases at the ends because it only has one in the middle, resulting in a slight bowing and losing some from the corners. I also changed the sand collection system and the gun (see photo). I added silicone internally at the joints, and finally, I put an "E" type air stop on the top part that closes the lid because dust was getting through with the sandblasting (the air stop wasn't installed when I took the photos). Also, don't forget to remove the protective film from the plexiglass on the outside.
