works well, reasonable power usage, included fan is quiet. cs2 still doesn’t run well as I’d have hoped considering I have a top of the line AMD dGPU, but I guess that’s Valve to blame.

Value for money. High performance at low temperatures. No game I tested came even close to maxing out the CPU utilization during gameplay. The stock cooler is sufficient.

I mainly use it for image and video editing. The integrated graphics circuit soon proved to be insufficient, despite the fact that Photoshop's requirements state that 2GB of RAM on the graphics card are needed. So, an external graphics card was added.
Even so, from time to time the applications freeze and sometimes close. I don't know if it's good for gaming, but for image editing, you'd better go with Intel.

I am without a graphics card. It is incredible, it plays games very well with its graphics, 200 fps in Valorant 1080p all medium, 120 in Fortnite 1080p 100% resolution and performance mode, Need for Speed Heat 1080p 100% resolution and all low 45-60 fps

Guys, it's the best for this money, really..!! It comes with graphics that I can tell you I played PUBG and SNOWRUNNER at a very good resolution, even Witcher 3 ran but there I went for a graphics card later..! It makes no noise at all, doesn't raise temperatures, etc., and it gave me a good and reliable option because I put in a graphics card after 3-4 months where if I wasn't playing games I would have left it like this... I used to go for Intel but it's not worth it for me, with normal use and gaming it's perfect..! Imagine I was playing Days Gone, I installed Red Dead Redemption 2 and it was running smoothly..!

First time buying a processor with 8 cores, my previous one was a Ryzen 3 and it seems amazing in speed and temperature.

Update October 24, 2025:
After 5 months of use I can say it is a perfect purchase!

I have been a owner since the first weeks of its release and then I placed it in a different build. With the change in price, I consider the 5800X to be the only option at this price point. Despite the passage of time, it continues to offer excellent performance. Very good value for money, ideal choice for those looking for strong performance without going over their budget.

Purchased in October 22' for 180€ and I have to say the following:
- Affordable
- Fast
- Graphics for full HD 1920x1080 resolution gaming
- Quiet (even with the case fan)
- Plenty of upgrade options in the future if you don't have a graphics card

The processor works on an MSI tomahawk 350 or 450 if I'm not mistaken, and through the bios it has been working for the past year at 0.1-0.2 GHz above normal without raising temperatures or making noise even in the summer!

Basic CPU with a balance between price and performance when combined with a good motherboard and GPU (in my case a 1650). Even with its own cooler, it maintains relatively low temperatures during use with GTA and Fortnight.

MSI B550M Pro-VDH WIFI works perfectly. The only issue is that with the stock cooler and factory thermal paste, the temperature at idle fluctuates around 50°C and reaches 70°C during normal use. It will probably need an upgrade in cooling for gaming.

- 15/5/24: The factory thermal paste was removed and replaced with silver (compatible as it doesn't have copper on the base of the cooler), the temperature difference was huge, starting at 38°C and averaging at 49°C!
So anyone who chooses this processor should definitely consider changing the thermal paste.

If you don't want to buy a graphics card, this processor is for you. Its graphics are very nice and can play games at a satisfactory resolution. So far, it hasn't shown any problems.

The processor is very powerful and reliable. It runs DaVinci, Photoshop, Lightroom simultaneously, combined with 32GB RAM, Gigabyte 3060, 980Pro 1TB, and MOBO B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2. It renders a 4-minute video in 1. In some games I ran, it did not raise temperatures. There is good airflow, of course. I recommend it with closed eyes.

I am very satisfied with this CPU, it performs everything perfectly. Definitely, anyone who wants heavy gaming with high graphics will need a graphics card. If your budget is tight, you can buy it initially with some compromises in certain games and later add a GPU. Personally, I also gave it 8GB VRAM and it's better.

Absolutely satisfied for the money it was purchased (177€).

Temperatures at 60-70 while rendering

Very nice processor. Their temperatures are stable. I combined it with an RTX 3700 and the MSI b450m PRO VDH-MAX motherboard. For cooling, I used the Arctic Freezer eSports DUO with Thermal Grizzly thermal paste. It does exactly the job I want, running open windows and games simultaneously.

Better than expected, it plays most games comfortably without a graphics card and I could say that it reminds me of a GTX 1050 Ti in terms of graphics. The temperature with the fan it has reached up to 40-45 degrees, with extra cooling it stays at 40 and runs very well!

Well, I come from an Intel i5 7th generation that I had for 5 years (back then it cost 250 euros) and after a while it became unbearable, it would frequently freeze and reach 100% with the simplest task.

So I got this bad boy and I have to say that I see a big difference in speed and how it handles heavy applications/games. I use it for illustrator, photoshop, editing, web, movies, and gaming, not very light tasks especially when I combine some of them together. And I am very satisfied with its performance! And at a very low price! (230 on 10/1/23) Now it has dropped even more and it's even more worth it!!

I have to say that I have no idea about temperatures, measurements, etc., but I do know that for mid-range and at this price, switching from Intel was a one-way street and worth it! I am satisfied and the speed is noticeable. :D

After one month of use, I am satisfied with its performance considering its price (180€) and compared to the cooling fan it has. I have used it for games like Gta5, LoL, Fortnite, pubg with dual screen but I haven't tried the integrated graphics yet.

Many have written about this tool, we're talking about a very powerful one that you won't easily tire out.
It handles everything effortlessly, I recommend it 100%.

I got it for a small barebones and it works 24/7 because I have installed TrueNas on it.
At the moment, it is the permanent server that I run virtualization, containerized apps, and file sharing services without any issues.
Despite being in a super small case (asrock DeskMini X300) with minimal airflow except for its cooler, I had zero problems.

If you want to build a PC with integrated graphics, make sure to get high-speed RAM to utilize it better. I made the mistake of getting 3200MHz RAM and in games, I had: Apex Legends at 20-30fps, LoL at 80-160fps, and Valorant at 60-120-160fps. I'm waiting to get a 3060 at normal prices, so integrated graphics were my only option. The processor is generally good and works well for video and image editing without any issues. That's all for now.

I've been using the CPU for a month now. The only complaint I have is that compared to my previous CPU (i5 6500), it easily raises temperatures and in difficult phases, I have 100% load on all cores (+85 degrees Celsius), which seems quite strange to me (compared to Intel). Other than that, I have no issues with its performance. If I somehow solve these "issues," I will update the evaluation.

UPDATE: In the end, the temperature of 85 degrees Celsius that I was reading on CoreTemp refers to the temperature of the CPU package and not the CPU temperature. The CPU temperature, via the motherboard program at full performance, reaches a maximum of 75 degrees Celsius, which is quite good. (FYI: CPU package temp is +10 degrees Celsius higher than CPU temp). Finally, it was a very good upgrade from i5 6500, and in combination with the Gigabyte RTX 3060 12GB, it runs most games from CanYouRunIt (CYRI score min+rec 100%).

Kids, this processor is awesome, a beast. Incredibly fast, runs everything smoothly, low temperatures and the graphics are perfect (at least for integrated). Later on, when a graphics card is added, it will skyrocket. 5/5 without a second thought.

Excellent processor for those who want integrated graphics. However, it lacks PCI_e 4.0, which I would like it to have, as well as L3 cache at 16MB. After 4 months of heavy use, my conclusions are:
1. It runs everything without showing any signs of struggling.
2. The graphics subsystem is excellent for everything except heavy gaming. Adrenalin has crashed 2-3 times, but this is probably due to the collaboration with the motherboard (MSI A520M PRO).
3. The Wraith Stealth that comes with the processor is not for heavy use, although relatively quiet. Until I received the AM4 kit for a 7-year-old Noctua NH-U14S, I had to use the Wraith and see 85+ degrees in heavy multithreaded applications. With Noctua, I have never seen above 65.
For today (June 22), it is the best solution for someone who has demands from their computer and does not want to spend a lot of money on a discrete graphics card - to get something (slightly) better than the integrated subsystem, you will have to go to Quadro T400 at almost €200, which cannot be considered a gaming card.
Overall, excellent, worth every one of the 300+ € it costs.

It is a dead end for anyone who cannot get a graphics card (you can go for a 5600g if you don't have the extra 100€).

I see many reviews mentioning gaming and I would like to add something. Yes, it is capable for gaming but not with high settings and up to 1080 resolution. That means no shadows, no HD, no effects, no bloom, no particles, no filtering, etc. 720p won't cut it anywhere. But is that satisfactory? Otherwise, you play and see the wind blowing, the plants swaying, the raindrops falling, etc. You enjoy it differently with good graphics and with a few pixels walking. So don't talk big and people buy it and expect other things and see other things. Yes, it plays but how does it play... Also, on Windows 11 and above, we can now use both the APU and GPU simultaneously. This is a big advantage. We set everything in the APU and the game in the GPU. This will rest the GPU. We can easily trust this processor to do everything and the GPU only for gaming. But without a GPU, you can't play. Processors haven't reached this terrifying level yet.
