Its ball-bearing-supported spindle and specially balanced, low-noise motor support precision work. The 12–18 V power supply allows work with coolant, including wet cutting and grinding.

The housing is made of glass-fibre-reinforced polyamide, and the handle has a soft-grip surface. The 20 mm collar makes it easy to secure MICROMOT accessories.
