So, let's get to it. I had been eyeing this particular monitor for quite some time and was torn between getting an IPS or VA curved one. In the end, I went with this one due to its price and positive reviews here and on rtings.
To mention the few negatives, there is some backlight bleed which is minimal and only noticeable on an absolute black screen, so it doesn't bother me personally. Secondly, the viewing angle is subjective as most of us sit directly in front of our screens, but even a second person can see just fine. The image may appear slightly washed out, but it's not a big deal. Thirdly, there is some ghosting when scrolling on a black background with white text, which can be reduced by increasing the response time and decreasing the Hz (I have it set to super fast and 144Hz).
Moving on, the monitor is a sight to behold. Coming from a decade-old 24-inch monitor (the vertical one in the photo), it's like night and day. The resolution is truly the best and I believe the sweet spot is at 27 inches. The colors are vivid and vibrant with very decent blacks, as well as the contrast of the image. It's also recommended for media consumption besides gaming. Additionally, the brightness is beyond satisfactory, and personally, it never goes above 60% in my room (I don't have any direct sunlight, so I don't know about those situations). The curvature of the screen, I must emphasize, is immediately accustomed to and really, if you're not too far away, it does give a little immersion to the game. Finally, it has a sturdy construction, easy assembly out of the box, a stable base, and the screen moves vertically and tilts up and down. It doesn't rotate right or left, so you have to turn it with the base. Lastly, there is a discreet blue LED light at the bottom of the screen, which is a very nice touch.
I bought it for 270 from WebS.... It's a very good choice and I think it covers most gamers. If you want to go for full competitive FPS gaming, look for IPS ones where the prices are higher for 2K resolution. Happy shopping!
Λοιπόν έχουμε και λέμε. Την είχα βάλει στο μάτι αρκετό καιρό την συγκεκριμένη και ήμουν ανάμεσα στο να πάρω ips ή VA curved. Εν τέλει κατέληξα στην συγκεκριμένη λόγω τιμής αλλά και κριτικών εδώ και στο rtings.
Αναφέροντας τα ελάχιστα αρνητικά, είναι το backlight bleed το οποίο είναι αφενός μηδαμινό και αφετέρου μόνο σε απόλυτη μαύρη εικόνα οπότε προσωπικά μου είναι αδιάφορο και δεν ενοχλεί καν. Δεύτερον είναι η γωνία θέασης που και πάλι, είναι υποκειμενικό θέμα διότι όλοι μας σχεδόν καθόμαστε απέναντι ακριβώς από την οθόνη μας, αλλά και δεύτερο άτομο να έρθει μια χαρά θα βλέπει. Ίσως να ασπρίζει λίγο παραπάνω η εικόνα όχι κάτι τρομερό. Τρίτον, σε μαύρο φόντο με λευκά γράμματα υπάρχει ghosting όταν γίνεται scroll, το οποίο μειώνεται αυξάνοντας το response time και μειώνοντας τα Hz (εγώ το έχω super fast και 144Hz).
Εν συνεχεία, η οθόνη είναι μια οπτασία. Προερχόμενος από ένα 24αρι μόνιτορ δεκαετίας (το κάθετο στην φωτογραφία) είναι η μέρα με την νύχτα. Η ανάλυση είναι πραγματικά ότι καλύτερο και πιστεύω το sweet spot στις 27 ίντσες. Τα χρώματα είναι έντονα και ζωντανά με πολύ τίμια μαύρα όπως επίσης και η αντίθεση της εικόνας. Προτείνεται και για media consumption εκτός από gaming. Επίσης, η φωτεινότητα είναι πέρα από ικανοποιητική, και προσωπικά στο δωμάτιο μου δεν πάει ποτέ πάνω από 60% (δεν έχω κόντρα ήλιο οπότε δεν ξέρω σε αυτές τις περιπτώσεις). Η καμπυλότητα της οθόνης να τονίσω ότι συνηθίζεται αμέσως και πραγματικά αν δεν είστε πολύ μακριά, είναι όντως ξεκούραστη και δίνει, έστω και λίγο το immersion του παιχνιδιού. Τέλος είναι στιβαρή κατασκευή, με εύκολη συναρμολογηση out of the box, η βάση είναι σταθερή και η οθόνη κινείται κάθετα και ρυθμίζεται η κλίση της πάνω κάτω. Δεν έχει περιστροφή δεξιά ή αριστερά οπότε την στρίβετε μαζί με την βάση. Τέλος στο κάτω μέρος της οθόνης υπάρχει ένα διακριτικό μπλε λεντ φως το οποίο είναι μια πολύ όμορφη πινελιά.

Είναι μια πολύ καλή επιλογή και πιστεύω καλύπτει τους περισσότερους gamers. Αν θέλετε να πάτε σε φουλ competitive fps gaming κοιτάξτε για ips που οι τιμές είναι πιο υψηλές για 2κ ανάλυση. Καλές αγορές!
