It is a great challenge to address a lively and active gathering of young people who question and often reject what you take for granted. This book is the essence of six years of Sunday gatherings with young and older brothers at the Parish Café of the Church of the Life-Giving Spring of Hatzikyriakios in Piraeus. Its texts are written in a contemporary style, making them understandable even to those who do not have a particular connection to church life, yet are eager to know it. At the same time, it contains biblical and patristic extensions for those who wish not to remain at a superficial approach, but desire to delve into the interpretative wealth of our Orthodox tradition. A significant addition includes various stories, examples, lives of saints, miraculous incidents, and excerpts from the wisdom of the Fathers and Elders. We hope these texts will inspire reflection and, why not, a new parish gathering...
