The K&N E-2996 high-flow air filter is reusable and made from four layers of oil-impregnated cotton gauze bonded with a special adhesive. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory air filter, it comes pre-oiled and ready to install without tools.
Its construction helps improve airflow while trapping dust, dirt and other contaminants. Under normal highway driving conditions, it needs cleaning every 75,000 km or every 5 years.
