Description

For all the peoples of the earth, awareness of their identity means knowledge of their history, their continuity through time. Memory for deeds and actions tied to what we call homeland. Let us not forget that peoples without historical memory are doomed to die.

In the past, our homeland has experienced similar difficult periods of national tragedies and bankruptcies. So let us ponder, what were the moral forces that supported our ancestors and led our homeland to national revival? It is our traditional values, which we are called to keep alive, the memory of our historical continuity for many centuries, the utilization of the linguistic wealth of the Greek language, and the Orthodox faith. It is our roots that kept us standing in difficult times.

With these beliefs, but mainly with the endless love that all of us from Epirus have for our fertile Epirus, let us embark on a journey through the historical paths of Epirus, with many references to the traditional values of heroism of the Epirotes, believing that we contribute to the enhancement of a healthy patriotism and the realization of our national identity.
