I attached it to my bedside table with the adhesive strips so I could put the remote controls in the gap between the bed and the bedside table. I don't know how long it will last with the adhesive strips; if it works well for me, I'll screw it onto the bedside table. For now, though, it seems very large, so the remotes fall sideways and get stuck inside; perhaps it shouldn't be so wide, so they can stand upright. The other problem is that the holder fills up with hair and dirt, and there's no way to clean it.
Still, the adhesive strips have held for more than two years
