They are simple lamps but attractive if a nice modern globe is used.
I put 3 stars because unfortunately 4 of them came to me faulty, i.e. with grey markings that could not be removed.
I was allowed to exchange them of course, however I didnt because it was too much of a hassle.
UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER : Attract lamps but they have started looking a little tattered as the exterior gold color is starting to fade and there are black spots.
Would I buy these again? Yes because they are attractive. No because they dont last.
