First of all, let's talk about the smartwatch aspect since Casio categorizes it there. I believe the term smartwatch for this particular watch is invalid. It is a watch that can connect to your phone for some very basic functions, but that's it. Generally, the G-Shock app is not the most user-friendly, so this function kind of goes to waste. I bought it knowing that it is not a smartwatch as the average person envisions it. You can get a smartwatch for much less money and have distance and heart rate measurements with excellent connectivity from other brands. However, here you have a G-Shock. So you have a tough watch that will never suffer any damage. You will change the battery at some point in the distant future. Personally, I think it is very beautiful (I have the purple one with blue details). Very easy to press buttons to set a stopwatch or a countdown timer (if you are into fitness in general). It has a 200-meter water resistance. You can wear it in the shower or at the beach without worry. Not as big as it seems. Overall, if we take the smartwatch label out of the equation, it is a very value-for-money watch.

The watch is excellent, lightweight on the wrist, and very beautiful!!! The smart functions are good, but don't expect anything amazing, after all, it's a G-Shock! Personally, the only problem is that it is much smaller than it appears in the photos, which makes it somewhat difficult to read the digital indicators (hence only 4 stars). Also, it is difficult to read the digital indicators when the hands are in front, which is normal, of course, but here it gives you the ability, when you simultaneously press the mode and light buttons, to move the hands to the side (top right) so that you can use the digital time. The backlight is excellent, and you can easily adjust the brightness time from 1.5 to 3.0 seconds through the mobile application.
Additionally, while it notifies you if someone is calling, I believe a good addition would be the ability to "answer" a call from the watch by pressing a button.
In conclusion, it is a very elegant and lightweight Casio G-Shock that you can wear 24 hours a day, as it is both stylish and sporty!

Screen: The screen is quite difficult to see when it is not hit by light. The time is displayed accurately only with the day-night hands, but if you want to see timers, steps, etc., it becomes difficult to use. All the features it has are difficult to use in this way. Also, the flashlight turns off when you press a button, so you can't adjust anything with the flashlight at night.

Hand feel: The watch is lightweight but a bit bulky in terms of height. The strap has many holes - options, but it is not elastic and gets used very quickly.

Mobile application: The application is quite good (not like Xiaomi's) and you can customize your settings. The connection is made if you have the location open on your mobile, at least in my case, otherwise it doesn't work. It is also good to have it connected to your mobile and have the location open when you go for a run. After a week, the old step counts, etc. are lost, so it needs to be connected every now and then.

Measurements: They are accurate, but from what I understand, it doesn't measure vibrations but hand movements, so it doesn't count much if you don't move your hands while walking. In contrast to Xiaomi bands, which count more easily but add many extra steps. The step information is for the day. With this watch, you know that it has definitely taken the number of steps it says, and maybe a few more.

Flashlight: It doesn't work many times when the watch is performing a function. It's not a button issue, other users have experienced it as well. Sometimes, when you have a timer, it may not start immediately or when you are adjusting something.

Durability: It appears and is a quite sturdy watch. It can withstand water, dust, and vibrations, as I have hit it many times against walls and corners in the past 9 months and it only has some very small scratches on the screen that can only be seen with a flashlight. It is also waterproof for the sea, swimming, etc. The 50-meter waterproof rating is not actually suitable for swimming because when you swim, you exert more pressure with your hands.

Appearance: It shows a sturdy, rugged-imposing watch that is reminiscent of sports activities. Of course, it can stand on its own on the wrist with any clothing you wear. With good clothes, it doesn't look out of place, it's just okay. Because it is all black, it matches everything.

In short, the watch has capabilities, but its screen makes it quite difficult to use. It is a watch with hands and then whatever else it offers. Let's not forget that it is first and foremost a durable watch with Casio style and some extras. So, you use the application, which is necessary for all its capabilities. In contrast to other smartwatches, where the screens are larger and you have access to much more information from the watch itself, here you also need the application.

Coming from a smartwatch, I was initially disappointed because it is an expensive watch and it doesn't offer as many options and functionality. This is because the watch belongs to a different category, it is a G-shock.
