The camera is fantastic with one caveat.......don't let it see the sun!!!! Not even a vampire would. As long as the car is in the garage and I use it later, it works perfectly. If I make the mistake of leaving it outside in the sun, our camera is finished!!!!!!!! For a continuous day, it keeps rebooting, turning on and off, turning on and off. I don't know, maybe I got a defective product, I'm waiting for a response from the company and I will keep you updated. update: it wasn't the camera that was causing the reboots, but the connection with the stereo's USB. So I think it's unfair not to update.

Installation was done on an Insignia and the initial connection was made from the USB of the Android screen I have. At first, it worked for a bit, but then the camera started to reboot, probably because it didn't have enough power. So, I unplugged the cable and connected it through the car charger. It has very good video quality during the day, but at night it's not as clear. It's difficult to distinguish license plates, faces, etc. It's not very small in size - someone even asked me on the road if I was recording them! It records up to 3 minutes and then starts a new video, so if you want to find something you saw on the road, you have to search for the right file. It has very slow downloading from the device to the phone. It records 4K videos. To take a photo, you need to have the app open on your phone. It doesn't have voice commands. I inserted a 64GB card and it works fine.

The image provided by the camera during the day is very good. It will clearly capture the license plate of an approaching car with a total opposite speed of 200km/h. However, at night it's a different story. Even with minimal movement, it is very difficult to capture the license plate number, even in a well-lit area. What is missing for me is the ability to record videos of longer duration than 3 minutes, so that it can be used as a recording camera for some nice routes without having to mix dozens of videos.

I will not write about its features because we all look at those before buying, nor about the reviews and how good or not it is.
It will definitely satisfy you satisfactorily in video recording, both while driving and parking. It also has Timelapse for that. Remember that you need wiring in the car's fuse box to have parking surveillance, which is purchased separately, otherwise, with the provided USB cable, in the corresponding cigarette lighter socket of the car.
The huge negative for me, you can call it annoying, irritating, is the sensitivity it has for starting emergency video recording. Set to low and I tremble in case I step on a pebble or stumble and it starts shouting "start recording emergency video". Just to give you an example, for a distance of 23 km within the city, it recorded 19 emergency videos.
Other than that, it works fine with a 256GB microSD card.
