The thermostatic diversion and mixing assembly for solar systems (Solar KIT) for domestic hot water applications provides the parallel connection of a solar water heater and a second heating source (wall-mounted gas boiler, boiler, heat pump, etc.) and aims at the optimal use of thermal energy from the solar heater and fuel savings in the most efficient way.

It consists of the thermostatic diversion valve and the adjustable mixing valve. The thermostatic diversion valve automatically diverts the water from the solar heater to consumption or the wall-mounted gas unit, while the adjustable thermostatic mixing valve controls and maintains the temperature of the domestic water constant, providing safety protection against burns by automatically shutting off the hot water supply in case of cold water supply interruption.
